Bungalows/Picnic area: The estate has two bungalows for hiking, each sleeping four people. A nearby kitchen and ablution building provides essentials like cutlery, crockery, and more. The picnic area, without cabins, also has fully equipped facilities for a comfortable outing.

Parking/Stores: Adjacent to the manager’s dwelling, a large covered parking area serves as a workshop and provides ample storage. It features a fully equipped butchery, staff ablutions, and a guest suite. The space is equipped with a compressor system for compressed air throughout.

A swimming pool, change rooms with toilets, and a lapa are nearby for anytime use.

The entire homestead, including parking and stores, is securely fenced with electricity.

Duna Camp: Built around 1985, Duna Camp has a brick, plaster, and stone cladding structure with a tile roof and floors. It connects to Eskom power and relies on a borehole for water supply.

Main house: The main house is divided into two sections. One part, currently leased to the Swebeswebe Home Owners Association, features an open kitchen, lounge with a fireplace, and a spacious main bedroom with his and hers bathrooms.

The other section has two double bedrooms with individual bathrooms and a kitchenette.

A covered patio is available for short-term rentals to birders or guests.

Outdoor entertainment area: There is a large entertainment area with a serving area and eating area with two braais. The Lapa has lights and can seat many people. There is also a small clay oven.

Bird Cottage: Built in 2005, Bird Cottage has a brick exterior, thatched roof, and two bedrooms with attached bathrooms. Inside, you’ll find plastered walls and increte floors, along with a shared kitchen/eating area. Recognized by Bird Life SA as bird-friendly, the

property features a large enclosed front porch, garden, and a separate Lapa.

The Workshop, Garages and Swimming pool: It comprises a large garage, Office, Workshop, Compressor room, Laundry room, Staff room, Two store rooms, Skin room, Butchery, Cold room, Slaughter area and smoker.

Bauhinia Lodge: Built in 2014, this structure has brick, plaster, and stone cladding, Cemcrete floors, and IBR roofing. The property relies on solar energy supplemented by borehole water. It includes a Cool Breeze air cooling system, a cell booster, satellite internet, and a DSTV dish.

Guest Cottage: The Guest Cottage has two double bedrooms, each with its own en-suite bathroom, and a shared kitchenette/sitting room. Hot water is gas-powered. The carport and workshop for three vehicles include a battery storage zone and a solar

control box. Additional storage is available for a backup generator and gardening tools.

The pool area has a smaller cooling pool amidst rocks, with an outdoor Lapa providing a view of the valley.
